Successful Outdoor special show at INTERGASTRA 2020

OUTDOOR. AMBIENTE. LIVING. by R+T impresses exhibitors and visitors across the board / Concept to be further expanded for INTERGASTRA 2022

The second edition of OUTDOOR. AMBIENTE.LIVING. took place from 15 to 19 February within the framework of INTERGASTRA 2020 – the leading trade fair for the hotel and gastronomy business. On a surface area of over 750 square metres, big names from the sector presented their top-quality sun and weather protection products in the outdoor area at the Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre. From louvred roofs and awnings to pergolas and parasols – the specialist visitors were able to admire all of this in the lower and upper Rothaus Park. In addition, a 150-metre colourful parasol alley with top quality parasols from famous manufacturers was a draw to visitors. Over 100,000 trade fair visitors made the most of this offer – whether in sunshine at 20 degrees or in the rain. It was thus also possible to examine the additional solutions directly on location under real conditions. In particular, during the set-up period the products were able to demonstrate how they could perform in all weathers during the storm “Sabine”.

Special show to be further developed in the future

Visitors to the leading trade fair for the hotel and gastronomy business showed great interest in the products of the exhibiting big names from the outdoor living sector, such as Bahama GmbH, CARAVITA GmbH, Corradi Srl, erwilo Markisen GmbH, HELLA SONNENSCHUTZ GmbH, LEINER GmbH, markilux GmbH & Co. KG, WAREMA Renkhoff SE and weinor GmbH & Co. KG. “With the exhibiting manufacturers, we have a concentration of competence in the industry on location. The visitors’ feedback shows that, with the special show, we have our finger on the pulse of the times,” says a delighted Sebastian Schmid, Department Director Technology at Messe Stuttgart and initiator of the format. “With this success, we are taking an important step in further establishing the OUTDOOR. AMBIENTE. LIVING. brand on the market. INTERGASTRA Project Manager Markus Tischberger is also convinced by the concept of the special show: “The growing demand for outdoor solutions for hotels and restaurants can clearly be felt. This confirmed our decision to again organise OUTDOOR. AMBIENTE. LIVING. at INTERGASTRA 2020. I am pleased that we exploited the synergies in our company and were able to further develop this project so successfully, which we will also expand further in the future.” The special show OUTDOOR. AMBIENTE. LIVING. will be held again at the next INTERGASTRA from 19 to 23 February 2022.

We had many visitors, starting with important gastronomers and specialist dealers to interested private individuals. The INTERGASTRA trade fair will be an important platform for our brands Warema and Caravita in future too. And OUTDOOR. AMBIENTE. LIVING. is precisely the right step.”
