Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh
Aero India 2023, the country’s biannual air show and aviation exhibition, has been announced by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for February 13-17, 2023, at Air Force Station, Yelahanka, Bengaluru.
Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh chaired, in New Delhi on January 09, 2023, the Ambassadors’ Roundtable conference for the forthcoming Aero India 2023. The reach-out event, organised by Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, was attended by Ambassadors, High Commissioners, Chargé d’affaires and Defence Attachés of over 80 countries. The Raksha Mantri invited the representatives from across the world to attend Asia’s largest and 14th Aero show – Aero India-2023 – which will be held in Bengaluru, Karnataka between February 13-17, 2023. He urged them to encourage their respective defence and aerospace companies to attend the global event.
It is organised by the Defence Exhibition Organisation, Ministry of Defence. The Aero India is the largest air show in Asia. ‘The runway to a billion opportunities’ is the theme of 2023 Aero India airshow.
This would be Aero India’s 14th edition. The dates for the air show and aviation exhibition were published far in advance, as was the case the previous year, by the Ministry of Defence.
With the launch of Aero India 2023, an official website announcing that year’s edition has gone live. The website, however, makes no mention of the countries participating or the exhibitors. The Ministry of Defence, breaking with the long-standing custom of marking Air Force Day in New Delhi, held the event in Chandigarh this year. In addition, the Ministry has relocated the Army Day parade from the national capital to Bengaluru for next year.
