International exhibition area very well booked

For the 15th edition of R+T Asia, the outlook could not be better: 72 per cent of the international exhibition area is already booked up five months before the event. The four halls N2 to N5 of the Shanghai New Exhibition Center (SNIEC) are very well filled with companies from the sun protection sector. In Hall N1, which will accommodate exhibitors from the doors/gates sector, some individual areas are still available. 78 per cent of the total bookable exhibition area for R+T Asia was already sold during the event in March 2018 for the following event.

R+T Asia will take place in 2019 from 27 February to 1 March, one month earlier in the year than previously. Another new feature is that R+T Asia will no longer be held simultaneously with DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR. The two trade fairs occupied the entire available surface area in the SNIEC; for the planned expansions of the events, it was necessary to stop holding the events together.

New parallel event: HD+ Asia – Home Textile & Decoration Asia

In 2019, R+T Asia will be flanked for the first time by the new parallel event HD+ Asia. The main focal points of the exhibition for home textiles and decoration will be curtains, wallpaper, home textiles, furniture fabrics and the respective machinery. HD+ Asia originated from two accompanying events of R+T Asia 2018: At the Soft Outfit Congress, over 1000 Chinese textile designers focused on the integration of window decoration, interior sun protection and interior design. Also the cooperation with textile manufacturers from the region of Hangzhou, the main region for Chinese textile production and location of a large number of Chinese curtain manufacturers, will continue at HD+ Asia. The Yuhang Home Textile Pavilion organised in March 2018 met with a very positive reception among visitors.

German joint stand

R+T Asia has again been included in the official foreign trade fair programme of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWI). This programme comprises trade fairs held abroad in which, on account of their special significance for German foreign trade, the German government participates in cooperation with the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA). On the basis of this financial promotion, exhibitors at R+T Asia will have the opportunity to present their company and their products under favourable conditions at a German joint stand under the motto “Made in Germany”. The registration documents for the German joint stand will be available from September 2018.
